Build a Car Competition

Make a model of a car out of anything! Either on your own, or with your family. No go-karts. These are model cars, from matchbox size models to shoebox sized creations. Ideally, table
top models. So, be creative. And LET’S GET BUILDING! There are GREAT prizes to be won.
Bring your model to the "Passion 4 Wheels Festival” so that it can be displayed and judged on the day.

1st Prize - Most Creative design
2 Nights Accommodation at Three Cities Lagoon Beach Hotel in Cape Town, 1 x Two Bedroom Apartment (4 guests) incl. Breakfast, valued at R2,600.00. Sponsored by Tourvest

Notes:
• Judges will choose the best car, on the day of the festival.
• It will be judged on its creativity. The judges decision is final.
• Model entries to be ready for display at the opening of the Passion4Cars Festival, i.e. by 9am.
• No go-karts. These are model cars, from matchbox size models to shoebox sized creations. Ideally table top models.
• No entry fee.

Gearing up for the festival

The excitement is mounting at school for the Passion 4 Wheels festival...

Have you seen Mr Norel's car lately.... it's ready and waiting for next weekend.

Remember to please sell sell sell your raffle tickets and return them to school next Wednesday.. the 27th.

Jacqui Stonley is still looking for volunteers to help man some points of interest during the day, so if you can spare a half hour or even a full hour, please contact her or the school office.

School Concert

In case you haven't heard yet.... the children are all madly practicing for the school concert. So please diarise these dates:

Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th June.

There will be a full dress rehearsal on Friday 19th June.

Give your child all the encouragement he/she needs. They (and their teachers) are all putting a lot of work into this... let's make it an event we can all be proud of.

Tuck shop

Please note that on the following days the tuckshop will only be open at 2nd break. Parents are to please provide lunch for their children for 1st break. This is due to Wendy writing exams.

Mother's Day Sale

Bring your Rands and Cents and come support the Grade 6's with their Mother's Day sale on Thursday and Friday this week... 7th and 8th of May.

We need your car

Is your car or motorcycle “unique”

• does it boast a serious spray job,
• is it highly supped-up,
• has it got an impressive sound system
• or something someone else would like to see?

We are looking for vehicles from all categories including:

• pre and post war classics,
• sports vehicles,
• hot-rods and custom cars,
• exotic and race cars and motorcycles.

No entry fee will be charged for the cars selected.
A complimentary ticket for the will be provided.
Marshalls will be on duty.
All show vehicles owners will be invited to the VIP area and receive a complimentary “goody bag.”
Special prizes will be awarded.
NWCS will notify each entrant about acceptance and show procedure.
NWCS reserves the right to reject any entries.
