A huge thank you too all who helped the After Care in their goal of collecting 600+ pairs of shoes.... we outdid their expectations TOTALLY....

a whooping 1000+ pairs of shoes were collected and handed over to Arise Ministries.

The morning of 21 May 2011, dawned bright and sunny.... just the perfect setting for a successful Art Exhibition.....

Each child had a piece of artwork on display and I'm sure every parent felt exceptionally proud of their talented child.

Sport-A-Thon 2011

It's here and it's happening..... you will need to brush up on your sports knowledge in order to crack the questions.... but don't fret you will find them all here on the blog in a few days.

The prizes for the TOP 3 children that collect the most money will be WONDERFUL gift hampers filled with eats, choccies, gift vouchers, games and MANY more goodies to the value of R1500.

Soul 2 Soul

The Grade 6 & 7’s in the After Care are collecting shoes for the Arise Ministry in Natal. Their aim is 600 pairs of shoes. It would be appreciated if you would drop off your donation of gently worn shoes to the After Care by 20 May 2011.

Children's Art Exhibition

Please come and support your child.  The class with the highest attendance will be treated to a Wimpy ice cream during the following week.  Let's show our kids that we are proud of them and their artistic abilities.

Farewell message from Grade 2W

Isn't this a cute idea.... the pupils in Grade 2W made posters for two of their classmates who left at the end of last term.  Each child wrote a personal note.... very touching.

Now this is what makes our school a family.... keep it up.

Rhino Coin Collection and civvies

On the last day of term 1, the kids had lots of fun putting out their coins in the shape of a rhino... all in the name of conservation. Unfortunately we don't have a photo of the final product.

Well done to everyone involved in a successful fundraiser for a worthy cause.
