Grade R celebrated Valentine's Day with lots of love!

The Grade Rs really got into the feel of Valentine's Day by coming to school dressed in red and white.  There were lots of hearts in the picture too, so what is more fitting that actually forming one too to spread a little love around.

Agapanthus day sale

Every year we have a sale for Agapanthus Day (our version of Valentine's day).... so bring your money and come and help us raise funds towards the Grade 7 farewell at the end of the year.

There will be a variety of goodies on sales for everyone's tastes... prices range from R2 to R50 an item.

Sale dates: Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th February

AGAPANTHUS (VALENTINE) DAY - Photos

Civvies day was a huge hit with the children last week Friday.... from the very littlies to the Grade 7s and even the teachers.  Lots of fun was had by all.

Thanks too to the PTA moms who organised the sale. The children all managed to get something for their loved one(s). The variety of goods for sale was outstanding and it was a great two days of shopping.

On Thursday and Friday, 10 and 11 February will be having a sale to celebrate the traditional day of Valentine…we would love to extend this day of love to our friends, family and people we care about and focus on the Agape or Agapanthus love of caring for each other …

John 13:34 “So now I am giving you a new commandment: love one other. As I have loved you, so you must love one other.”

There will also be a civvies day on Friday 11 Feb (R5 per child) the money raised from this will be given to a less fortunate school as our gesture of love and care.

Civvies Day

Civvies day arrived and all the children are sooooooooooooo happy about it... they have all joined in and worn either RED, PINK, WHITE or even other colours just to add to the festive day.


This is the whole school seated in assembly this morning.... see if you can spot your little angel!

Even the staff, teachers and some of the mom's joined in the fun and wore the right colours.

Enjoy your Valentine's Day and celebrate with your loved ones. Don't forget too the greatest love of all comes from our Lord Jesus.

The Grade 6 pupils, parents and teachers have been working extremely hard to make this valentine's day extra special.... see here some of the lovely goodies that you can get:

All goodies will be on sale during both breaks tomorrow and even after school if there is still stock left. Each class will be taken to the tables (starting with the higher grades), so please don't forget to send your money to school on Friday.

The Grade 6's have even decorated the school with lots of hearts and cupids... makes it look very loving and festive.

To the newcomers of our school : the Valentines Day Sale has become a traditional annual event Hosted by the Grade 6 children. All proceeds of this event will go towards the Grade 7 farewell.
There will be goodies to eat & goodies to keep – from as little as R1,00 to R50,00 for something less bland. . .
