Letterland Day for Grade R

Every year our Grade Rs learn the alphabet through Letterland and then get to dress up in their favourite character.  Look at this fantastic display of costumes... well done everyone.

So, did you see your favourite letter of the alphabet?  Looks like they all had loads of fun dressing up.

The compulsory  fees are payable before 18 November 2013.

Book Pack Fee for Grade 1 for 2014 is R850,00

Book Levy Fee for Grade 2 - 7 for 2014 is R400,00

Payments may be paid by either cash / card or direct deposit.
Please reference any EFTs correctly: child's surname, Bk Pack / Bk Levy 2014.

Christmas Shoe Box

We are now collecting for our Christmas Shoe Boxes. They will go out this year to 80 Nursery School children. We will be collecting different things each week for these boxes

28th Oct –1st Nov : Bar of Soap (Children)
4th Nov—8th Nov : Face Cloth
11th Nov—15th Nov : Toothbrush (Children )
18th Nov –22nd Nov : Toothpaste (Children)
25th Nov—29th Nov : Jar of Vaseline.
Any Time: New Tennis balls (good quality) soft toys (if second hand they must please be washed and brushed) They need to fit into a shoe box.

Please leave items with Mrs Mc Birnie, Mrs Norel or Karen Castle at Aftercare.

Rhino Conservation

We are delighted to be taking part in the international travelling Rhino Project to raise awareness of the plight of the rhino.

The Camp Out is coming....

Our Annual Camp out will be held on 26th October. 

Gates open at 16.00.

Entrance fee R50 Adults and R20 children.

All children have to be accompanied by parents (please don't just drop your child off for the evening)

Braai facilities will be available and there will be activities for the children.

NOTE: Unfortunately this event has had to be cancelled due to very wet fields and more rain predicted for the weekend.  The Grade 7s will now be holding a cake and candy sale on 1 November 2013 during school hours.

A CD was sent home today with the software for the new School Communicator.
