Each year our school is growing in size. This means that we need a few more teachers each year too. In 2012 we welcome the following teachers to our school:
Grade 3 - Miss McCormack
Grade 4 - Mrs Lewis
Grade 5 - Miss Olivier
and for Junior PE - Miss Bowen
Welcome to all. We hope your stay will be a very happy one.

IT and Media in 2012
We've entered a new and exciting year in our Media Centre at Northwest! One of the first things a couple of Grade R's told me is that they don't have computers at home... they have ipads!
This year we will be starting with e-books in the library and Grades 5 to 7 will have class blogs. The class blog will be a place for each class to interact with their classmates about educational matters, including book reviews, class projects and current events. I look forward to your support in this.
My wish for you for this new year is that your life is as amazing as it is on Facebook:)

Welcome back
The new school year has started. We hope that all the pupils are settled into their new classes and have made lots of friends. Just in case you get lost or need to know where to find the classrooms now that everyone has been shuffled around, herewith the new school layout.

Letterland Day
On 28 October 2011 there were some very strange (yet cute) visitors at our school.... all our Grade 0s dressed up as their favourite Letterland character... see who you can spot!
Our teachers - Wicked Witch, Clever Cat and Naughty Nicola
Miaow from a Clever Cat or Three...
Eddy Elephant also made an appearance
Fireman Fred and his crew to save the day
All the glittering golden girls
The kings came out in their royal robes
Letting their light shine are these Lamp Ladies
A very "un"Quarrelsome Queen
Watch out Robber Red is on the loose
A couple of Slithering Sammy Snakes and friends
A whole host of wicked witches
Lots of Zany Zebras
and then a few that we're not sure off but who are still just as cute....
Well Done.....
Stellio Sarelis represented NWCS at a SACSSA tournament last week and came 3rd in his age group. Stellio has been selected to play for SACSSA.
